The founders of Montana Cages originally worked at a local Parrot breeding station in America, which looked after several hundred Parrots. Once they returned to their home country of Germany, they recognised that there was a lack of Parrot specific products in Europe.

Working in the USA had given them a comprehensive insight in the developments in Parrot care. Initially they started importing cages from across the pond, but because of continued growth, development took place and a range of Parrot homes and aviaries were designed and manufactured, which was the birth of Montana Cages in 1998.

Specialist from a wide range of fields including production, manufacturing, expert bird and Parrot breeders and keepers have all been involved in the development and continued success of Montana Cages.
