    Use for breeding preparation in a mixture of 1 to 3 with maintenance and as a basic food for large parrot species.
    Also suitable as a conversion feed. (Available in four packs)
     
    Since July 2001, our production company Hommersche Mühle GmbH has been producing tasty and wholesome parrot pellets on its own mixing and pelleting plant. To this end, Dr. Stephan Dreyer, feed expert with lectures at the University of Stuttgart Hohenheim, our team of experts. All raw materials are in food quality, strict incoming goods inspection ensures the quality of the ingredients as well as the permanently critical monitoring of the production process and the result. We do not use any residual or by-products, such as pomace and / or grains, as usual. We do not use the salt and sugar added that is acceptable, but rightly rejected, as well as synthetic colors and odors.
     
    Our real pellets offer the following advantages: With each piece, the bird absorbs all the nutrients contained in our pellets. A one-sided diet by selecting individual grains (including high-fat seeds, such as sunflower seeds, ect.) Is not possible. Our pellets ensure an optimal basic supply with all vital vitamins, trace elements and minerals, so that the addition of a vitamin product is eliminated.
     
    Our pellets are characterized by a balanced ratio of protein, carbohydrate and fat content and are easily digestible.
    In our pellets are contained coarse ingredients and thus adapted to the natural diet. The gizzard must also "work" with pellet feeding.
    Our selected suppliers have confirmed to us that the raw materials supplied do not originate from genetically modified seeds, contain no genetically modified organisms and are not irradiated.
     
    In contrast to extrudates (with unwanted but avoidable starch digestion, too little crude fiber, poor energy-protein ratio, too hot production), our pellets = pellets are to be preferred. They are only friction-warm, with natural strength, compared to raw fiber with arbitrary energy content animal-friendly and appropriately compressed. A detailed description of this important finished food differences is available here on call. Furthermore, we do not recommend our high-quality products for complete nutrition, despite vitamin supplementation and trace element supplementation. Fruits and vegetables, germ and cooking foods, treats and snacks remain important as a rich supplement even in the age of our own production of ready-made feed.

    Als Faustregel gilt ca. 6-10% vom Körpergewicht pro Tag je nach Bewegung und Haltebedingungen. Die Mehrzahl der Vögel nimmt unsere Pellets Spontan an. Bei einigen Vögeln kann es jedoch mehrere Tage, Wochen und auch Monate dauern bis diese sich auf das neue Futter in der ungewohnten Art umstellen. In diesem Fall sollten Sie das bisherige Futter in stark reduzierter Menge (1-2 Esslöffel) jeden Abend über das neue Futter geben.
